Ginger COOKIE recipe 

Cream together- 3/4 C butter with 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add 1 egg and mix and then add 1/4 cup molasses. Mix wet ingredients until smooth. In a seperate bowl add 2 1/4 cup flour, 1 t. baking soda, 2 t. ginger, 3/4 t. cinnamon, 1.2 t. cloves and 1/2 t. salt. Stir dry ingredients just to blend. Add flour mixture to  wet ingredients in 2 batches just until blended. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours (best overnight). Roll into 2 inch balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for approx 10 minutes (or until they start to crackle). Let them cool before removing from cookie sheet. Enjoy!!
